E's party was so great and he's so lucky to have such amazing parents! :) I know all the kiddos had an awesome time too!! Another great job by N & H Betner :)

Dina

Such an awesome party! I love how you made the tracks in the front to those great signs you made at all of the stations to the invite to the coal and that awesome train... oh, I just loved EVERYTHING!

Can you tell me what you used for the "coal"?

Heidi

Dina, thank you!! Sorry for the delay in responding...I've been moving this blog to a new site and hadn't checked in for a few weeks. :) The coal was some cut-up black foam that we had in the garage (convenient!). I'm not sure where you could find it...maybe Home Depot/Lowe's? Thank you for such a nice comment...the party was so fun!

Hi there,
Love your train party!!! My son will be turning 4 and is obsessed with trains. Where did you find your invitation and what are your cupcake toppers? Love.
thanks
Melissa

Heidi

Hi Melissa, thank you for your kind compliments!
I found the invitation on Etsy, here is a link:

and I made the cupcake toppers (both the yellow/black discs and the white RR crossing sign) using fondant and food marker. I don't have a tutorial on them but here's a link to one of my posts showing a better picture if it helps with ideas.

Have fun with your party planning!
